Mobile unit for on demand charging

Launched in 2023, the kvyreen 80 charger is based on an 80 kW hydrogen fuel cell from Toyota and includes integrated battery and power electronics to deliver fast charging over CCS-2 for battery electric vehicles and equipment. The unit is capable of being integrated into public charging networks, can be used for private or to charges fleets, like the application with SMT Netherlands. The unit can operate fully off-grid and just needs a hydrogen supply, which can be provided by bundle, container or a fixed infrastructure. The technology has been deployed in the field since 2022 and has a solid track record of reliable and safe operation.

Construction sites are often located away from the electrical grid where the only power source available are diesel generators.
